🔥 BREAKING: Want to live longer with half the effort? New study reveals shocking truth about exercise gender gap! 🏃♀️ Women need only 140 minutes of cardio exercise weekly for 24% lower risk of death! 🏃♂️ Men? They required a whopping 300 minutes for just 18% risk reduction! There were also similar findings when it came to strength training as well. This is great news for working women struggling to find time to fit their own mask first as they deal with the brunt of emotional and physical housework both at home and the office. No more beating yourself up for not spending as much time in the gym as the men in your life if longevity is your goal. As with always, the devil is in the detail - the research structure, cause or correlation, and interpretation. 💡 Don't break a sweat, break the stereotype! 9 ways to replace sorry with thank you for those who find themselves apologising for everything - 1.  Replace "I'm sorry I'm late," with "Thank you for waiting for me." 2.  Instead of sorry for a mistake, say "Thank you for your understanding." 3.  Replace "Sorry for the inconvenience," with "Thank you for your patience." 4.  Instead of sorry for a misunderstanding, say "Thank you for clarifying that." 5.  Replace "I'm sorry I can't help," with "Thank you for considering me, but unfortunately, I'm unable to assist." 6. Instead of sorry for a disagreement, say "Thank you for sharing your perspective." 7.  Replace "Sorry for taking your time," with "Thank you for giving me your time." 8  Instead of using sorry for a late response, say "Thank you for your patience while I got back to you." 9.  Replace "I'm sorry for venting," with "Thank you for listening to me." Gratitude and graciousness are powerful replacements, shift attention from you to the other person, and can change the energy of a conversation. Plus, when we over use the word sorry, it loses it's meaning and devalues the apology. Save your heartfelt apologies, for when they matter most. My boyfriend dumped me when he found out how little I earned and what my future prospects were. While he didn't say it outright, it did happen just a few days after our frank financial discussion. That was the first time I learned that men my age were earning significantly more than me and that perhaps I had been selling myself short. Or more likely, I had been sold short without my knowledge. But it did light a fire in me - and I went back to university to reposition myself for something bigger and better paying. It helped me see I could do things differently and that there were options. And having options is immensely liberating. That's why I'm totally fascinated by The Great Wealth Transfer over the next decade and this newly coined term, The Feminisation of Wealth, inspired by Sallie Krawcheck over at Ellevest.
